I got off the Bakerloo line carriage at Marylebone with a group of twenty-somethings who I‘d spent the last 10 minutes travelling with. Their eyes were all very wide and they were masticating like a dairy herd. They had clearly enjoyed a night in town and got up to stuff that perhaps I would have been doing a decade ago. What had given their night a happy finish was sharing an early morning tube ride with a man dressed head to toe in Lycra. Their glances and smirks at me seemed to suggest so at least. Or maybe they think I am cool fashion-forward hipster. Yeah spandex is so Dalston.
